The inspiration for A wild patience comes not only from the observation of the smallest, hidden harmonies of nature, but also from a poem. A wild patience has taken me this far is the title of a collection by the American poet Adrienne Rich, and is a verse within the poem Integrity. The starting point is thus the will, the wild instinct that pushes a being to return to being whole after having being pulled apart by a journey. Whether symbolic or real. Wild patience is the instinct and the will of man to explore, which passes through one’s relationship with nature, and therefore through one’s relationship with a primordial part of oneself.
