The exhibition stands as a continuum of De Rerum Natura: here we move on to the relationship with architecture, to man’s attempt to order space. Cattaneo, with Magneti Marelli, shows us the beauty of abandoned architecture, narrating a glorious story that, through abandoned and half-destroyed space, is a symbol of the passing of time. Sacconi, with Homo Faber, travels among the world’ architectures, drawing a set of graphic and metaphysical effects with black and white. Spirito with Il colore del razionalismo adopts a documentary approach to depict the buildings of Italian Rationalism, giving them an aura of magic thanks to the complex technique of coloristic and graphic superimposition.
