An evocative and strong emotion arising from the strength of a simple crease, this is the distinctive feature of the Almost nothing series. A structural line on a powerless object serves as backbone, allowing a simple piece of paper to come to life. A minimalistic research work, rich in oxymorons that make it lightweight and statuary at the same time, architectonic but fragile, concrete and surreal. The eye, trained to look beyond the appearances and the ability to brighten creatively, allow Galli to give rise to a narration between abstraction and surrealism: from the “almost nothing” of an inanimate piece of paper he obtains thousands of variables that make it alive.
