The photographic genre of photo-mountaineering is the union of two great passions and expertise: that for photography and that for the mountains. Bregani’s photography has in itself the authenticity of being in tune with nature and of being able to weave “an intimate, silent conversation with all the elements that make up the landscape”. His black and white images speak of silence, of the rhythm of steps, of the whistling of the wind at high altitude. Taken with a smartphone, they offer us a world that knows how to renounce facile colour effects to accompany us on a journey made up of contrasts- at times intense and at times delicate.
