The title is a Scottish proverb that means “one language is never enough”, and it fits Anna Giuntini like a glove. Her photographs are observations of a reality mediated by her gaze, manually reworked and (re)proposed using different languages related to the same theme. In Displays and powerlines, she reflects on communication and its gaps through images of repeaters that dialogue with material elements taken from the world of communication, while in Maldafrica her personal carnet de voyage is superimposed on memories, notes, incomplete borders and paintings.
