Perspectives, genres, different languages to describe a neighborhood beyond mere appearances. Photography is the basis, but not only different intentions, but also different expressive possibilities, intervene on it. The gazes are those of the students of the 1st year of the professional course of the Italian Institute of Photography, the neighborhood is the Bicocca. Expression of industrialization, Bicocca was the pulsating center of Milanese development at the beginning of the 20th century. That beating pulse has died down but the signs of industrialization have remained, giving an initial impression of inhospitality, but the photographers show us a path by opening a place for possibilities.
