The passion for the mountains sublimated through the camera lens. Gualdoni embarks on a double journey to two areas hit by natural disasters in recent years: Val di Fassa in the Dolomites and Monti Sibillini in Umbria. The first journey is through the scenery of the terrible devastation of Hurricane VAIA in 2018, with wounds still clearly visible on the territory that seem impossible to come to terms with. The second follows a snow-covered route that gives the landscape a fairy-tale aura, somehow scarred by the 2011 earthquake’s destruction, that is still present.
