The stylistic choice of cyanotype, a photographic technique characterized by delicate blue atmospheres, blends with the architectural harmonies of the Certosa of Milan. Still a little-known jewel, the Certosa, home to the Parish of Santa Maria dell’Assunta, was founded in 1349 and houses important frescoes by Simone Peterzano and Daniele Crespi. Di Fazio has carefully observed the details, shapes, paintings, arches and treasures contained in the Certosa and has sublimated them into these ethereal photographs that create a magical atmosphere.
