The body/mind relationship, across cultures and over time, has followed strange pathways. Treated as separate for a long time, today we know how much one mirrors the other. Five artist photographers narrate the body to allude to something deeper, using a language based on the shapes and lines of muscles and veins, skin and hair, shadows and projections. Signs, gestures, form, harmony are only visible traces of something more elusive, whose language is clear only to those who know how to pay attention, to those who know how to enter into a deep relationship with themselves and with others. On display are five ways of perceiving this often overlapping duality between body and mind.
