Pino Liddi confronts an artistic and figurative genre that has always been loved by people: still life. In his meticulous and precise photographs, we find the teachings of great artists of the past, as well as the stylistic features of the genre, above all tempus fugit. But Liddi plays with the genre, and adds and alternates connotations that give temporal clues to imitation: small signals given by a material, an object, a calligraphy that refer to a not so immaterial time.
