Cliff Flowers is inspired by the nature of the Levante Ligurian coast reinterpreted through a mix of photography and ink drawing. Carolina Trabattoni’s image commits plants and flowers to memory, as if they were still alive. Without picking the flower, it is rendered immortal in its vital splendour. From here, nature takes new form and is regenerated through Valeria Vaselli’s subtle ink marks. Thanks to drawing, it leaves the confines of photography, multiplies, and extends beyond the boundaries of paper. The Cliff Flowers publishing project is sponsored by the Municipality of Porto Venere.
