A travel reportage that is also an anthropological look and a reflection on the concept of Ethnicity. Moving between Ethiopia, India and Myanmar, photographer Fabrizio Crippa has created a series of portraits and reportage shots that investigate the immense richness that is man in his essence, but also in his belonging to a place, a culture, an ethnic group, which are aesthetically contextualized. At the heart of Crippa’s photographs lies the intimate and atavistic need for man to recognize himself in order to rediscover his own sense of distinctive uniqueness.
