Vera Rossi’s photographs are evocative images that demonstrate how reflections, both temporal and spatial, can coexist in the immediacy of photography. The photographer moves on two fronts. On the one hand the representation, played between superimpositions and skillful suggestions, of familiar objects and atmospheres, in which impressions of the past emerge creating an ambiguous space-time dimension. On the other hand, images that are a game of reflections that open up the possibility of casting a fleeting glance beyond the perception of everyday life. Both narratives allow us to understand a reality that is never univocal.
