On display a series of photographs that can be defined as conceptual portraiture. The intent of the photographer is to immerse herself in the complexity of reality by leading her gaze beyond the very first perception. What is there beyond the normality of an appearance? What can be seen moving in an inscrutable form? Is it perhaps identity, that elusive and ephemeral concept, multiform and indefinable? The photographer tries to grasp the ungraspable by rendering it photographically with a dreamlike gaze, conveying precisely that sense of ineffability that leads the observer to a threshold, resisting the vertigo that one feels in front of space, of eternity.
