Gorgeous black and white photographs taken with a view camera: this is Alberto Pascale’s work. Water is the fil rouge that links his images: from pearly oceans to foggy lagoons, from sparkling waterholes to mirrorlike ponds. Water and streams that shape the landscape and that in turn are shaped by the photographer’s eyes and hands in the darkroom. Darkness, as much as water, is an element that forms part of Pascale’s poetry, they blend together to be transformed into something unique and new.
