Let there be light, is not only about night and day, darkness and light, it is about the total immersion of matter in a luminosity that today we can define as quantum. This is what Mintoy explores in his photographic research, recovering with sophisticated optical means the residual energy of organic material considered lifeless, in order to revive it by capturing quanta of light. The singularity of reproducing it on a bell tower is a symbol of ascendancy to the divine, certifying the supernatural origin of the cosmic energy that pervades the world. Thus, a chimerical tower lost in a hopeless urban landscape comes back to life with its residual light, a relic of humanity in search of its destiny.
