Anna Maria Del Ponte’s digital processing leads to a photographic reinvention of the site in which the tower, a dissonant voice in an evocative context of fairytale nature, catalyzes the gaze. An almost biblical scene is represented in Aurelia Raffo’s work: the image of the tower in its dramatic hieraticity, a parable of human endeavors, a shelter from physical and metaphysical events, is projected onto a night sky threatening all hegemony. In Mavi Ferrando’s work, a photographic collage on wood from the series Ubicazioni 2021, the tower is a construction that alludes to other possibilities, perhaps capable of going back to the basic questions to which the artistic project is called to react.
