A photograph, some sketches, a touch of color. In this imaginary journey Ugo La Pietra interprets the theme of the temporal continuity of an architectural object that is part of the tradition of the fabric of the city. Here he has chosen the Tower of Liprando in the ancient Borgo degli Ortolani in Milan. A Romanesque bell structure, elegant and slender, which accompanied the church of the Holy Trinity, now destroyed. At the top of the composition, the photograph of the Tower with La Pietra at its feet is the inspiration for a series of sketches in which the Master describes the architectural styles that have been combined over time with the bell tower, highlighted through the colors of the sacerdotal vestiarium.
