Over the years Lia Stein has been reinventing and deepening her vision of architectural photography without ever falling in the reflections and plays of light rhetoric. In her Metal series she harnesses a determined and sharp vision incorporating a few poetic juxtapositions. While exploring the dialogue between volumes and colour, Stein focuses on metal, underlining its capacity to capture light to create the most unexpected nuances. Surprising frameworks come to the fore, where lines, colours, and shades underline the geometrical patterns vitalising the architectural metallic facades. A narrative to say how architecture is not at all cold and soulless.
