In February 2021, the Myanmar army carried out a coup d’état that deposed the democratically elected government, shattering dreams of a liberal opening. Ta Mwe dedicates his reportage to the exploits of the Myanmar Spring Revolution, a transversal, peaceful and nonviolent protest movement that opposes the military through various forms of expression. The book Letters from Myanmar will also be presented.
