2020 marked the 200th anniversary of the birth of Nadar, a pioneer of the photographic image. The exhibition brings together 70 original prints and documents that celebrate a figure who was deeply linked to the context in which he lived: his inventiveness, his political passions and the social and cultural coté in which he was inserted all contribute to the great significance of this man. And the friendship? It is the one cultivated by Nadar with the greats of his time, and that is immortalized in letters and art. The works on display come from the Genoese collection of photographer Fulvio Magurno, whose ten images from the Confessionals cycle are also on display.
