A project undertaken in Jordan and Greece in the camps hosting migrants fleeing war and poverty, who have been rejected by the world they want to reach. Photographers are asked to render witnesses’ testimonies visible: Perotti does it in his own way, with his distinctive ability to investigate reality by alternating attention to detail and to the overall picture. It is difficult to recount the everyday life of those who live in limbo, as time expands into nothingness, but Graziano Perotti manages to do so with images that are both physically and metaphorically profound. With his emotional images, he even manages to give a glimpse of hope for a different future.
