Amidst the synergies and balances, the beauties, and the complexities of our world, one element is often overlooked: rocks, the outer part, the surface on which we have erected buildings and developed our society. In its different interpretations “rock” takes on a figurative meaning that becomes metaphysical, leaving space to subjectivity and gives rise to the comparison between what we are, people and living beings, and the very essence of our planet. The exhibition is a collective project developed with the photographers who attended the professional evening course of the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia and who interpreted the subject according to their personal visions.
