Sahel Red is the result of a journey to Niger the photographer did in 2022: a vivid and intense visual journal, just as intense as the emotions he felt being in constant contact with poverty. As viewers we inevitably tune into an empathic observation of these photos which although describing a geographical journey transition into an introspective one. Sahel Red is also documented in a self-published book that was exhibited at the Pavilion of the Republic of Niger at the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale.
