Beauty is not appearance. And when it is also appearance, it is a factor that leads to decisions and choices. For Darwin himself, who used the expression Sense of beauty, beauty is a female prerogative at the basis of the evolution of the species. Agnes Spaak comes from the world of fashion and has developed a dreamlike and suggestive style, as if filtered through memory. Her immortalisation of female beauty, through portraits and details, is timeless and leaves room for states of mind, for dreams, for metaphysical and sensitive dimensions. An exhibition full of poetry, reflections, crevices, superimpositions and details consigned to eternity.
