Diane Arbus, Eva Hesse, Ketty La Rocca, Liliana Maresca, Ana Mendieta, Gina Pane, Alina Szapocznikow, Francesca Woodman. The women in this group show have two things in common: they were great artists and they died young. Borrowing a motto of Menander for whom youth is sacred, as it is free from the sufferings of life, and therefore dear to the gods, the exhibition brings together the works of women who became famous for their art. Art that has made them immortal far beyond their short lives. Plastic art, photographic art, contemporary art, body art: a collective exhibition that is at the same time a multiple perspective and interpretation of a world filtered through gazes of deep sensitivity and strength.
