In photography, interpretation counts as much as composition, technique and vision. In Jacopo Golizia’s photographs of landscapes, foreshortenings, skies, and harmonious forms, interpretation is the most personal part through which the author loads his images with meaning. Recognizing almost archetypal elements in what surrounds him, Golizia gives space to time and vice versa, allowing the gaze to seek and preserve something intimate in what it observes.
