Sandro Miller’s works are an adventure of the mind: in this series about women, the photographer eliminates similarities in favor of difference and multiplicity. Miller searches for the manifold and the original in simulation and repetition, by capturing black women with splendid hairstyles, women whose bodies look like primitive sculptures, as well as his lifelong friend, John Malkovich, who interprets the great female portraits of the history of photography. A creative act that goes beyond the terms of identity, similarity, analogy in favor of an affirmation of the different and the multiform.
