The enclosed space of imprisonment. Voids and constrained spaces are home to the lives of those imprisoned, lives in which everything, every object, every corner changes having to readapt to norms, rules, necessities, and needs. With his pictures, the photographer captures the prisoners’ admission process, their detention, rehabilitation, work, spirituality, and their managing of time. Each and every “thing imprisoned” that an inmate creates, bears a symbolic and identity-driven content.
