Paolo Ameli creates a black and white photographic series depicting natural subjects, inspired by what is invisible to the eye, here in plain sight thanks to the infrared technique. It’s an extraordinary journey into our planet, showed in its most simple, essential, yet majestic aspects. His aethereal landscape photographs capture the beautiful and powerful essence of nature, turning our world upside down and revealing its secrets through minimalist shots. Far from being just ‘exotic’, Ameli’s images represent many different landscapes: from Kenya to Val d’Orcia, from Japan to Scotland.
