“The fields needed someone to walk through them to express themselves in a rustle,” said Clarissa Pinkola Estés. Luisa Raimondi refers in part to this phrase and in large part to her personal experience. The photographer spends three months of the year immersed in the nature of Monte Rosa. The rest of the time she lives in a small town in the province of Varese, but without nature it’s as if she loses her radar. The trees that make up this photographic tale in diptychs are those that the photographer sees on her way from home to work, an Ariadne’s thread that binds together different seasons, different schedules, with the same comforting presence.
