Stereotypes about women die hard, and those related to cars are particularly disparaging. This exhibit contributes to combating misrepresentation and promoting a non-discriminatory culture: 16 highly professional women – businesswomen, sportswomen, CEOs, politicians – are portrayed on board as many cars from the Fratelli Cozzi Museum, one of the most important Italian collections devoted to the history of the automobile. Camilla Albertini chooses the woman-car combination to overcome trite and offensive clichés using powerful images; to make everyone aware of the urgency of true equality, which also stems from culture wars.
