Tina Modotti, like many women artists, is surrounded by an aura in which life, art and passions are inseparable. Actress, model and Edward Weston’s lover, she shapes her creative identity in the post-revolutionary Mexican artistic renaissance and in the frequentation of painters and poets, Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Pablo Neruda. Her style, expressed in the few years dedicated to photography, tells of a free and nonconformist spirit that animates the body with breathtaking beauty, to which she herself assigns little importance. The exhibition is promoted by the City of Milan, produced by 24 ORE Cultura-Gruppo 24 ORE, in collaboration with SUDEST57 and Comitato Tina Modotti of Udine.
