Luca Cortese, Gianni Maffi, Pio Tarantini e Alessandro Vicario sono i fotografi selezionati da Fondazione Corrente per portare avanti il progetto che racconta le trasformazioni della città. Ora il focus è sulle aree verdi, i grandi parchi che circondano Milano creando un rapporto tra natura e artificio. Milano un tempo terminava in campagna, vestigia di questo passato sono ancora visibili: marcite, cascine, campi agricoli, sistema di acque. La mostra fotografica diventa così un percorso che racconta la storia dei luoghi del passato per riportarli all’attenzione del presente.

Luca Cortese, Gianni Maffi, Pio Tarantini and Alessandro Vicario are the photographers selected by the Corrente Foundation to carry on the project that recounts the transformations of the city. Now the focus is on the green areas, the large parks that surround Milan creating a relationship between nature and artifice. Milan once ended in the countryside, and vestiges of this past are still visible: water meadows, farms, agricultural fields, water systems. The photographic exhibition thus becomes a journey that tells the story of the places of the past to bring them back to the attention of the present.
