Fabiano Ventura è un profondo conoscitore delle grandi catene montuose della Terra e con il progetto Sulle tracce dei ghiacciai da oltre 10 anni ne documenta il mutamento a causa dei cambiamenti climatici. La mostra Testimoni del tempo è insieme omaggio alla fotografia e sintesi perfetta fra bellezza e rigore scientifico. Le immagini evidenziano la storia della riserva d’acqua dolce della Terra che lentamente scompare, ma anche i cieli, il vento e le rocce di cui possiamo sentire il muto respiro.

Fabiano Ventura has a deep knowledge of the great mountain ranges of the Earth, and with the project On the Trails of the Glaciers he has, over the last 10 years, been documenting their transformation due to climate change. The exhibition Testimoni del tempo [Witnesses of time] is both a tribute to photography and a perfect synthesis of beauty and scientific rigour. The images highlight the history of the Earth’s slowly disappearing freshwater reserves, but also the skies, the wind and the rocks of which we can feel the silent breath.
