Un viaggio di scoperta in Uganda di Francesco Sanapo con i fotografi ritrattisti Flavio&Frank indaga sulla realtà di un paese in espansione anche grazie alla qualità della sua produzione di caffè. Selezione di scatti al femminile che narra come l’equità di genere sia un’importante tappa da raggiungere nel processo di civilizzazione e di crescita economica di una popolazione. L’esempio è quello della città di Masaka, dove sono state avviate iniziative per promuovere la parità di genere nelle famiglie di coltivatori di caffè. Uno sguardo autentico che, attraverso il caffè, restituisce dignità e prospettive di vita alle donne del posto.
A journey of discovery in Uganda undertaken by Francesco Sanapo together with portrait photographers Flavio&Frank, to investigate the reality of a country that is developing partially thanks to the quality of its coffee production. A selection of female shots that wants to highlight how gender equality is an important stage to be reached in the process of social and economic growth of a population. The example is that of the city of Masaka, where initiatives have been launched to promote gender equality in coffee farmers’ families. An authentic gaze that, through coffee, restores dignity and life prospects to local women.
