Divisa in due sezioni fra loro complementari nonostante l’apparente diversità, la mostra prevede al piano inferiore fotografie a colori che raccontano un itinerario in Africa compiuto da Romagnoli in Land Rover negli anni Settanta alla scoperta del senso di libertà che sempre un viaggio implica. Molti anni dopo il fotografo avrebbe puntato l’obiettivo verso la luna, diventata così il suo soggetto preferito: le seducenti immagini in bianconero che la descrivono, la inseguono, ne modificano la forma in un lungo gioco di variazioni sul tema compaiono al piano superiore della galleria.

Divided into two sections that complement each other despite their apparent diversity, the exhibition includes colour photographs on the lower floor that tell the story of Romagnoli’s journey through Africa in a Land Rover in the 1970s, to discover the sense of freedom that such a journey always entails. Many years later the photographer pointed his lens towards the moon, which became his favourite subject: the seductive black and white images that describe it, follow it, modify its shape in a long game of variations on the theme appear on the upper floor of the gallery.
