Tra marciapiedi, tram, metropolitane e cemento, scorgere animali che si è abituati a vedere solo in habitat naturali genera un sentimento di sorpresa e piacere. Muovendosi tra queste due categorie estetiche, Sebastiano Tavolazzi si fa fotografo di natura urbana e ritrae le varie specie che popolano Milano. Ne emerge un reportage naturalistico e insieme metropolitano dove a far da protagonisti sono quegli animali selvatici che hanno scelto i parchi cittadini come proprio habitat.

Seeing animals that you are accustomed to only encounter in natural habitats in between sidewalks, trams, subways and concrete generates a feeling of surprise and pleasure. By moving between these two aesthetic categories, Sebastiano Tavolazzi becomes a photographer of urban nature and portrays the various species that populate Milan. The result is a naturalistic and metropolitan reportage where the protagonists are those wild animals that have chosen the city parks as their habitat.
