Maria Cristina Anelli ama i pesci ed è per questo che – qualche volta nell’acqua, più spesso in pescheria – li osserva con la curiosità che caratterizza i creativi. Nasce così questo lavoro di still life carico di ironia dove ogni forma è gioiosamente trasfigurata: un pesce spatola è arrotolato in sé come una cintura, le sardine esaltano le livree argentate appese a mollette da bucato, le seppie usano il loro nero per dipingere, gli scampi giocano a nascondino. Usando uno sfondo bianco e una bella dose di fantasia, l’autrice firma in questo modo una gradevolissima “ricetta fotografica”.

Maria Cristina Anelli loves fish and that is why – sometimes in the water, more often at the fishmonger’s – she observes them with the curiosity that characterizes creatives. Thus is born this still-life work, loaded with irony, where every form is joyfully transfigured: a paddlefish is rolled up like a belt, the sardines enhance their silver livery hanging from clothespins, the cuttlefish use their black to paint, the shrimp play hide and seek. Using a white background and a good dose of imagination, the author thus creates a very pleasant “photo recipe”.
