Le opere di Luca Gilli provengono da serie fotografiche realizzate in tempi e su temi diversi. L’accostare così il corpus fotografico di un artista permette di meglio cogliere il filo conduttore del suo stile: la scelta di operare in interno, di fotografare con luce piatta e lunga esposizione. Soprattutto di trasformare ciò che fotografa, siano architetture, arredi o spazi in dimensioni dall’atmosfera sospesa e surreale.

Luca Gilli’s works come from series of photographs taken at different times and on different themes. The bringing together of the photographic corpus of an artist allows us to better grasp the thread of his style: the choice to work indoors, to photograph with flat light and long exposure. Above all, to transform what he photographs, be it architecture, furnishings or spaces, into dimensions with a suspended and surreal atmosphere.
