Un frammento d’Europa lontano, selvaggio, misterioso: l’Islanda è questo ed è anche altro. Meta sempre più conosciuta, l’Islanda conserva un suo fascino discreto eppure meraviglioso, non facile da sondare: impossibile non rimanere meravigliati davanti alla dirompenza di ghiacciai, vulcani, geyser, distese disabitate e animali in libertà. I due fotografi e viaggiatori seriali Mauro Colella e Rita Colombo hanno guardato l’Islanda proprio dal punto di vista di questa natura incredibile e hanno realizzato un reportage di viaggio confluito anche nel libro Sulle strade d’Islanda.

A distant, wild, mysterious fragment of Europe: Iceland is this and more. An increasingly popular destination, Iceland retains its discreet yet wonderful charm, which is not easy to probe: it is impossible not to be amazed by the power of glaciers, volcanoes, geysers, uninhabited expanses and animals in the wild. The two serial photographers and travellers Mauro Colella and Rita Colombo have looked at Iceland from the point of view of this incredible nature and have produced a travel reportage that has also been featured in the book On the roads of Iceland.
