 Nell’ambito della street photography, al cui interno si muove, Giancarla Pancera esprime una peculiarità tutta sua: quella di dar vita a immagini che, se da sole possiedono un valore intrinseco, è nel loro accostarsi che rivelano una capacità narrativa autentica perché diversa da quella del reportage. Grazie alla grande sensibilità, alla rapida intuizione e all’occhio ben allenato, l’autrice elabora uno stile e costruisce un percorso coerente il cui filo conduttore, anche se non l’unico, è l’ironia. 

Within the field of street photography, Giancarla Pancera reveals a particular ability all of her own: that of giving life to images that not only possess an intrinsic value of their own, but that reveal an authentic narrative capacity when juxtaposed, thanks to their being different from the reportage variety. With great sensitivity, rapid intuition and a well-trained eye, the author develops a style and builds a coherent journey, one of the common threads of which is irony.
