La luce al Sud non illumina le cose, ma le abita in profondità. Mariacristina Barbara ha preso quella luce e l’ha riempita di colore, l’ha saturata. È con questo intenso carico cromatico che la fotografa ha deciso di raccontare luoghi e modi di vivere dell’Italia che appartengono a una vita molto semplice. Giocando ed esasperando i colori, mettendoci passione, autenticità e per trasmettere a chi osserva la stessa voglia di conoscere meglio quelli spaccati di vita.

The light in the South does not illuminate things- it inhabits them in depth. Mariacristina Barbara has taken that light and has filled it with colour, she has saturated it. It is with this intense chromatic load that the photographer decided to tell the story of places and ways of life in Italy that belong to a very simple time. Playing with intensifying colours with passion and authenticity, she conveys to the observer her desire to get to know more about those slices. of life.
