Il mondo liquido del titolo è quello preannunciato da Bauman e la società liquida è stata resa tale dall’incremento del digitale: ha creato nuove comunicazioni, nuovi ruoli, nuovi mondi. Ma chi è approdato in queste terre inesplorate, ha lasciato indietro le vestigia del mondo che è stato. Le opere dei 40 fotografi in mostra raccontano di questi resti: architetture industriali abbandonate che rimandano alla rivoluzione triste, un fenomeno di costume che ha portato con sé la deindustrializzazione di un paese un tempo vivace, spostando il valore dal materiale all’immateriale.

The liquid world of the title is the one announced by Bauman, and society has been made liquid by the increase in the digital, which has created new communications, new roles, new worlds. But who has landed in these unexplored lands, has left behind the remains of the world that has been. The works of the 40 photographers on display tell of these remains: abandoned industrial architecture that refers to the sad revolution, a phenomenon that has brought with it the deindustrialization of a once lively country, shifting value from the material to the immaterial.
