Uno degli aspetti più affascinanti e giocosi della fotografia è la possibilità di muoversi nel rapporto tra spazio e tempo. Nel paesaggio urbano Daria Martinoni trae l’ispirazione, ma la sua ricerca esplora altri luoghi dove soffermare lo sguardo e cogliere l’attimo in cui il soggetto diventa catalizzatore di sentimenti, attese e pensieri, tra presenza e assenza. Trasformare la spazialità urbana in dinamicità attraverso la riproduzione e la reiterazione permette di creare un nuovo spazio: le persone e gli oggetti al loro interno sono utilizzati per mettere in discussione la nostra percezione e visione del mondo mediante la reinterpretazione del reale.
One of the most fascinating and playful aspects of photography is the possibility to explore the relationship between space and time. Daria Martinoni draws inspiration from the urban landscape, but her research probes other places, where her gaze lingers and captures the moment in which the subject becomes a catalyst for feelings, expectations and thoughts, between presence and absence. Transforming urban spatiality into dynamism through reproduction and reiteration allows for the creation of a new space: the people and objects within it are used to question our perception and vision of the world through the reinterpretation of reality.
