Alleggerire, semplificare, aprire: sono questi tre pilastri dell’approccio che Giulia Mozzini ha adottato quando ha iniziato a pensare al suo reportage scattato in Marocco, ovvero quando ha meditato sulla costruzione di un progetto. Prima della meditazione, c’è stata la scoperta e la ricerca inconscia, frutto di uno scatto fatto senza pensare, della ricerca del curioso, dell’inaspettato, dell’esteticamente interessante. Abbandonando preconcetti e pregiudizi, davanti alla scoperta di una terra nuova e diversa rimane solo la categoria dell’interessante e la bellezza che si schiude.

Lighten, simplify, open: these are three pillars of the approach that Giulia Mozzini adopted when she started thinking about her reportage shot in Morocco, when she meditated on the construction of the project. Before meditation, there was unconscious discovery and research, the result of shots taken without thinking, of the search for the curious, the unexpected, the aesthetically interesting. Abandoning preconceptions and prejudices, before the discovery of a new and different land, only the interesting and the beauty that opens up remain.
