Le fotografie di Veronica Muntoni, ritratti e frammenti di corpi, nascono dalla necessità di fermare una porzione di mondo sgradevole e reietta eppure preziosa e ricca di poesia: la sensualità dell’infanzia, la mutazione del corpo dopo l’amore, le imperfezioni. Assonanze e dissonanze dell’essere umano vengono comprese, accettate, portate all’estremo della loro rappresentazione. Con sguardo innocente e insieme disturbante ricerca poesia nel quotidiano, anche laddove non ci si aspetta di trovarla.

The photographs of Veronica Muntoni, portraits and fragments of bodies, stem from the need to capture a part of the world that is unpleasant and rejected and yet precious and rich in poetry: the sensuality of childhood, the mutation of the body after lovemaking, imperfections. Assonance and dissonance within human beings are understood, accepted, taken to the extreme of their representation. With an innocent and disturbing look she researches poetry in everyday life, even where one does not expect to find it.
