Nel racconto di Franco Pelosi vi è l’interpretazione di una realtà caratterizzata da ambientazioni con soggetti singoli. A rimarcare l’importanza di ognuno in ogni luogo e del suo momento esclusivo. Perché secondo il fotografo per un solo attimo, tra composizione e luce, una persona diviene protagonista inconsapevole di un racconto di vita quotidiana che domani non sarà uguale. La cifra stilistica degli scatti in bianco e nero di Franco Pelosi è proprio questa: fermare un frammento di racconto e lasciarlo  immutabile e sospeso, permettendo all’osservatore di immaginarsi il resto della storia.

In Franco Pelosi’s work there is the interpretation of a reality characterized by settings with individual subjects. To emphasize the importance of each, in each place, in its own exclusive moment. Because, according to the photographer, for a single moment, between composition and light, a person becomes the unconscious protagonist of a story of daily life that tomorrow will not be the same. The stylistic feature of Franco Pelosi’s black and white shots is precisely this: stopping a fragment of the story and leaving it unalterable and suspended, allowing the viewer to imagine the rest.
