Giacomo Nuzzo da qualche anno sta portando avanti una ricerca che sta in equilibrio tra fotografia e pittura, tra astrattismo e realtà. Questa serie fotografica in particolare è focalizzata sull’osservazione dell’acqua: nel tentativo di cogliere situazioni e atmosfere, il fotografo cambia punti di vista, esplora le possibilità non solo del mezzo, ma anche del risultato. Osservando e ricercando, Nuzzo compie due percorsi che possono sembrare opposti, tra la pratica di pittore e quella di fotografo.

For some years now, Giacomo Nuzzo has been carrying out a research that is in balance between photography and painting, between abstractionism and reality. This photographic series in particular is focused on the observation of water: in the attempt to capture situations and atmospheres, the photographer changes points of view, explores the possibilities not only of the medium, but also of the result. Observing and researching, Nuzzo journeys on two paths that may seem opposite, that of the painter and that of the photographer.
