Con Ritratti d’Interno Michela Albert mette la fotografia a servizio del racconto vero e proprio: la fotografa narra attraverso immagini e testi la storia di quattro personaggi accomunati da un passato psichiatrico. Lo fa conferendo a ciascuna immagine dignità, slegandola dal giudizio e dallo stigma sociale, riportando tutto al piano di una narrazione che è confessione e rappresentazione.

With Interior Portraits, Michela Albert puts photography at the service of the story itself: the photographer narrates, through images and texts, the story of four characters united by a psychiatric past. She does so by giving each image dignity, untying it from judgment and social stigma, bringing everything back to the plane of a narrative that is confession and representation.
